Nick reached out with plans to propose to his girlfriend, Marissa. They had a scheduled trip to the Alisal, where they enjoyed horseback rides and delicious food. My wife and second shooter prepared a beautiful bouquet of flowers for their shoot. Due to a last-minute change in our "planned location", we were able to capture stunning pictures of Nick and Marissa before Nick knelt down and asked her to marry him, to which she said yes! Moments like this are wonderful to witness and be a part of.

My wife and I were honored to photograph Joey and Yadria's wedding and even more honored to photograph Yadira's maternity photos. Being a part of multiple life-changing events really solidified the joy of capturing these moments.

It's always a joy to work with new people, especially Bree and Nico, who reached out for a couple's shoot. They were originally concerned that they might not know what to do, but they were right at ease in front of the camera. This experience proved that you don't need a big special reason for photos; sometimes going out to dinner is reason enough.
